(MENAFN) UAE's telecommunications firm Etisalat is looking to introduce 5G infrastructure all across the GCC states within this year.
Etisalat unveiled a plan to establish 300 5G towers during this first quarter and create 600 5G sites throughout 2019.
Meanwhile, the Emirati telecom giant is most likely to develop 5G phones next year, as confirmed its senior vice president Saeed Al Zarouni.
Al Zarouni explained that the company is seeking for its "network and infrastructure to be ready to provide the service as soon as the 5G mobile handsets are available in UAE."
