(MENAFN) Qatar is enjoying a flourishing tourism sector as it welcomed more than 1.8 million arrivals in 2018, with most of the guests from Europe and Asia.
Qatar's Ministry of Development Planning and Statistics data unveiled 29 percent of tourists to have come from Europe last year.
Meanwhile, according to the ministry, 41 percent of arrivals have come from Asian countries during the period.
The ministry noted that Qatar received 528,333 arrivals from European countries while welcomed 753,161 visitors from Asian countries.
