Beirut, Feb. 15 (Petra) ـــــ Lebanese President Michel Aoun Friday received Jordan's Ambassador in Beirut Nabeel Masarwah, on the occasion of the end of his tenure in Lebanon.
At the meeting, President Aoun asked the ambassador to convey his greetings to His Majesty King Abdullah II, lauding distinguished ties binding both countries.
The President also decorated Masarwah with the Grand Officer of the National Order of the Cedar, for his efforts and services rendered to Lebanon, which contributed to further advancing bilateral ties.
The ambassador, for his part, voiced appreciation for the Lebanese President and officials, for the valuable cooperation he received during his 4-year tenure.
