Azerbaijan has amended the 'Law on Suspension of Business Inspections, Trend reports.
The amendment envisages elimination of restrictions on inspections in financial markets. The corresponding issue was discussed Feb. 12 at the plenary session of the Azerbaijani parliament.
In accordance with the law, inspections of entrepreneurs in Azerbaijan were suspended until the end of 2020. However, in order to protect the life and health of people, ensure security and economic interests of the state, it is allowed to conduct inspections in the cases specified in Section 2.1 of the law.
In line with the proposed amendment, this list also included audits in financial markets.
There are also proposals to amend the 'Law on Regulation of Business Inspections and Protection of Interests of Entrepreneurs so that this law wouldn't apply to audits in financial markets.
Following the discussions, draft amendments to laws were approved.
