(MENAFN) George Clooney has lashed out at media treatment of the Duchess of Sussex, comparing it to that of Princess Diana and declaring: "We've seen how that ends."
The actor, who went to the royal wedding with wife Amal last year, confirmed that Meghan was a "seven months pregnant" woman who is being "pursued and vilified".
His statements took place after the publication of a personal letter written by the duchess to her father, Thomas Markle, expressing to him that her heart was "broken into a million pieces" for he accepted to appear in press interviews, fake news, and attacked Prince Harry.
Clooney, aged 57, shared his statements after reacting at a report saying he would be godfather to Harry and Meghan's baby.
