Lebanese forces detain 2 Syrian of al-Qaida-linked Nusra Front




(MENAFN) On Tuesday, Lebanon's state security detained two Syrian nationals in relations with al-Qaida-linked Nusra Front in Nabatieh, south Lebanon, stated a report by Elnashra, an online independent newspaper.

The two detained Syrians confessed that they have before fought with Nusra Front on the Syrian territories as well as contributing in kidnapping and killing crimes and transferring arms in favor of the terrorist group.

The two arrested people were referred to the military prosecution service for more probes and other judicial measures.

Lebanon's state security also detained last month a network of four Syrians connecting to the Islamic State radical group.
