Vietnamese reference exchange rate increased


(MENAFN) Vietnam's central bank has raised its reference exchange rate between Vietnamese dong and U.S. dollar by 10-22,905 Vietnamese dong per U.S. dollar.

With the current trading band of plus or minus 3 percent, the ceiling exchange rate is 23,592 Vietnamese dong per U.S. dollar, and the floor rate is 22,218 Vietnamese dong per U.S. dollar.

Listed rates at big commercial banks remained flat or declined slightly from Monday.

Vietcombank kept the rates unchanged at 23,155 Vietnamese dong per U.S. dollar for buying, and 23,245 Vietnamese dong per U.S. dollar for selling, while rates at BIDV declined by 10 Vietnamese dong 23,170 Vietnamese dong per U.S. dollars and 23,260 Vietnamese dong per U.S. dollars, respectively.
