(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) CAIRO, Feb 11 (KUNA) -- Kuwait parliament member Khaled Al-Otaibi called on Monday for creating a mechanism that would make Arab countries pay their arrears to the budget of the Arab Parliament.
Al-Otaibi, also member of the Arab Parliament, was speaking to KUNA following a meeting of the parliament's committee on arrears.
He said he proposed that Arab countries with arrears host some meetings of the Arab Parliament while excempting countries experiencing crises, like Yemen.
Al-Otaibi called for benefiting from similar experiences in African and European parliament, and the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) to know the measures implemented in these cases. (end) ms.bs
