(MENAFN) Opposition demonstrators in Haiti are getting more aggressive as they burned tires and threw stones, urging President Jovenel Moise to step down.
Over four people have died and dozens injured during the four days of protests in the capital Port-au-Prince and other cities.
Many citizens accuse Moise and other officials of corruption, while thousands have taken to the streets this week.
The disorder has forced mayors in several cities to cancel carnival festivities due in early March, while has called for talks with the opposition.
