(MENAFN) The White House has not eliminated another federal government U.S. President Donald Trump's proposed border wall by other ways.
Acting White House chief of staff said "you absolutely cannot" exclude the possibility of another shutdown on Friday if a deal is not reached over the wall.
The White House had demanded USD5.7 billion, which the Democratic-controlled House of Representatives rejected.
While the two sides were close to making a deal last week, significant gaps remained and momentum appears to have slowed.
