(MENAFN- Online PR News) 19th Jan, 2019, about 88 parents of children studying in Delhi Public School, Amravati, gathered for a Parent Orientation Program was conducted.
Online PR News 08-February-2019 Raipur The parents shared their problems and concerns with Mrs. Rao. Matter of concern for most parents was their wards' total obsession with the mobiles. Another problem was that most children these days don't indulge in outdoor games. Mrs. Rao said that if children were introduced to the wonder of reading, they wouldn't turn towards the mobiles for entertainment. Regarding outdoor games she said that it is a serious problem which has been noted by CBSE too. Schools must provide for outdoor games in their campus and take responsibility of the physical growth of children.
The Mr. Dolendra Patil, CEO, DPS Amravati, accorded a warm welcome to the parents and felicitated the key note speaker with a sapling. He expressed his happiness that parents of the school were pro-active and took time out to attend all the functions of the school.
Principal, Mr. Himadri Desai too appreciated the patience and faith that the parents had reposed on the school. He also advised the parents on how they could keep the morale of their children high.
Academic coordinator, Mr. Shishir Prakash the vote of thanks. The staff of the school too attended the Program. The parents were grateful and satisfied with the school management for having organized the orientation program.
