Jordan participates in the Arab economic, social meeting in Cairo

Cairo, Feb. 7(Petra)-- Jordan, represented by Trade and industry Ministry Secretary General Yousef Shamali, took part in Cairo in the 103rd ministerial session of the Arab Economic and Social Council.

Arab League Secretary General Ahmad Aboul Gheit, stressed the importance of crystallizing Arab economic and social policies that serve the common interest and ensure the security of the Arab nation in the political, food, water, energy security areas.

He pointed out that the economic and social issues presented to the Arab summit at its ordinary session in Tunisia should include a clear road map and objectives and applicable mechanisms according to the current situation in the in the Arab region.
