Jordan- Crown Prince visits Bahraini Royal Guard Command Headquarters, participates in anti-terror drill

Manama, Feb. 6 (Petra) - His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al-Hussein bin Abdullah II visited on Wednesday the Bahraini Royal Guard Command Headquarters.

Upon his arrival, the Crown Prince, accompanied by captain Sheikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, was received by Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Commander of the Royal Guard, and colonel Sheikh Khalid Bin Hamad Al Khalifa, And a number of senior Royal Guard officers.

The Crown Prince inspected the guard of honor which was lined up for him In his welcoming speech, Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Commander of the Royal Guards, praised the "historic" ties between Jordan and Bahrain, the level of joint cooperation, especially in the military fields, and the role of Jordan in establishing the Bahraini defense force.

Sheikh Nasser said the visit of His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al-Hussein Bin Abdullah II to the Royal Guard Command Headquarters reflects the close relations between Bahrain and Jordan.

Sheikh Nasser briefed the Crown Prince on the duties of the Royal Guard, the roles it is carrying out, as well as its strategy for development and modernization.

The Crown Prince also toured the Royal Guards' Special Force Museum.

The Crown Prince, Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, and Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa participated in the implementation of an anti-terrorism drill, alongside a Royal Guard batch, which showed a high level of their preparedness, as well as their high morale and efficiency in achieving targets using different weapons.

The Crown Prince praised the high level of professionalism of the Royal Guard personnel.
