Syria: car bomb goes off near prison in Manbij


(MENAFN) On Tuesday, a car bomb blasted close to a prison in Syria's northern city of Manbij, the latest in a series of bombings in that Kurdish-controlled city, activists emphasized.

The car bomb exploded close to the central jail of Manbij, which is governed by the Kurdish-led Manbij Military Council in the northern countryside of Aleppo province, opposition activists reported.

The blast caused no casualties.
