Qatar signs air transport agreement with Angola

Doha: The Minister of Transport and Communications, H E Jassim bin Saif Al Sulaiti, and Angolan Minister of Transport, Ricardo de Abreu, signed yesterday an air transport agreement between the State of Qatar and the Republic of Angola.

Signed in Doha, the agreement comes within the framework of connecting the State of Qatar with more air services agreements, permitting its national carrier to expand its destinations all around the world.

Following the signing ceremony, the two ministers discussed the bilateral relations between the two friendly countries in the fields of transportation and aviation and means of further enhancing them. The meeting also tackled potential investment cooperation opportunities in these fields.

The meeting was attended by Akbar Al Baker, Group Chief Executive, Qatar Airways, and Abdulla bin Nasser Turki Al Subaey, Chairman of the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA).
