Qatar- Ministry of Education to participate in third annual Artistic Exhibition

Doha: The Arts and Theater section in the Department of Educational Guidance of the Ministry of Education and Higher Education announced its readiness to participate this month in the third annual Artistic Exhibition at Fire Station Artist Residence.

The Section Head, Arts and Theater at the Department of Educational Guidance of the Ministry Suad Al Salem, during the first meeting with the coordinators of visual arts, expressed the Ministry's desire to overcome all difficulties for the coordinators of visual arts.

Al Salem added that they hope to increase the students' participation in the next art exhibition, noting that the exhibition is a good opportunity to know the students creativity, as the event is a good technical platform bringing different student's creative works.

The number of schools that participated in the first exhibition 2017 was 70 public schools, 9 private and international schools, and in 2018, the numbers went up to 84 public schools, 19 private and international schools. The number of participants from all Qatar schools is expected to increase during this edition.

The organising committee has set a number of conditions for those wishing to participate in the third annual exhibition, stipulating that the number of students participating in the team work does not exceed 4 students and that the idea of the artwork should align with the exhibition concept, while the artist is free to choose his works material and technique.

The deadline for submitting the works in (jpg) format is set for 10 February, and the delivery date of works is set from 18 to 20 of this month.
