Kuwait- Morocco Shooting Grand Prix gets underway


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) RABAT, Feb 1 (KUNA) -- Morocco's shooting Grand Prix competitions began in Rabat on Friday featuring 220 shooters from 23 countries, including State of Kuwait.
The week-long championship will see male and female shooters competing in trap and skeet competitions, Abduladheem Al-Hafi, head of the royal Moroccan shooting federation and vice-president of the Arab Shooting Federation, told KUNA following the opening ceremony.
He said Kuwait team would boost level of competition because it consists of elite international shooters.
Adnan Al-Ibrahim, head of Kuwait team, said participation was out of keenness to improve efficiency and experience.
Kuwait will be represented by Khaled Al-Mudhaf, Abdulrahman Al-Faihan, Nasser Al-Meqled, Sarah Al-Hwal, Shahad Al-Hwal, Abdullah Al-Terqi, Saud Al-Habib, Mansour Al-Terqi, Eman Al-Shamma and Fatma Al-Zaabi. (end) mry.bs
