A tourism development fund will be created in Turkey in 2019, the country's Minister of Culture and Tourism Mehmet Ersoy said, Trend reports via Turkish media.
The minister noted that the creation of a tourism development fund will contribute to the development of tourism in Turkey.
The Minister added that Turkey's goal is to increase the tourist flow to 70 million by 2023.
"Turkey has a huge potential for increasing the tourist flow into the country," the minister said, stressing that according to forecasts, over 45 million tourists will visit Turkey in 2019.
In January-November 2018, 37.5 million tourists visited Turkey, which is 22.25 percent more compared to the same period of 2017.
In November 1.9 million tourists visited Turkey, which is 19.97 percent more compared to the same month of 2017.
