Qatar- Kahramaa launches awareness campaign on customer services


(MENAFN- Gulf Times) The Qatar General Electricity and Water Corp (Kahramaa) has launched a three-month campaign, aimed at creating awareness on facilities for ensuring smooth services for customers.
This comes as part of continuous improvement aimed at increasing customer satisfaction by facilitating and clarifying the procedures and saving the time and efforts in their dealings with the corporation.
It targets all customers, including citizens.
The campaign encompasses, requesting customers to make timely payment on electricity and water bills to avoid disconnection of service, settling customer's account and paying off financial arrears through (opting ‘move out' service) incurred against registered immovable property, if any, prior to dwelling unit's sale off and renting and encouraging citizens to come forward for their registration as exempted beneficiary in accordance with the approved policies and procedures.
They can register via the corporation's website (km.qa), mobile apps or call centre 991 providing required/sought documents.
Registered exempted citizens can also apply for 'move in with exemption service when moving to a new house.
The campaign also creates awareness about the necessity of getting month-wise electricity and water bills to avoid the accumulation of bills which could lead to service cuts, if not paid in time.
Campaigns also emphasise the importance of updating the contact data to receive monthly bills through e-mail and SMS, and the various payment gateways provided by Kahramaa to pay bills through its website, mobile app, Ooredoo self-services machines and partner banks.
The campaign which highlights the benefits of registration for all customers, will have a series of publications and awareness-raising tips through its social media channels and other ways of media activities to interact with the targeted audience in a large number to disseminate all inputs pertaining to its objectives among valued customers get benefits from Kahramaa services.
