(MENAFN) A nurse in Arizona has been charged with sexual abuse after a weak under his care gave birth.
The suspect has been identified as Nathan Sutherland, aged 36, who was an employee at the Hacienda Healthcare clinic.
The victim, aged 29, who has reportedly been under the supervision of the clinic since she was a child, gave birth on 29 December.
Staff at the facility declared that at the time they were not informed of her pregnancy until she went into labour.
The infant, a boy, is now in the care of the patient's family and is believed to be in good health.
