(MENAFN) Brazil's ace Neymar was inflicted with a recurrence of injury to the fifth metatarsal in his right foot during a match with his club Paris Saint-Germain.
26-year-old forward star suffered the injury recurrence in PSG's 2-0 victory over Strasbourg on Wednesday.
PSG issued a statement on Thursday, announcing that "initial examinations have revealed a painful recurrence of his injury to the fifth metatarsal of his right foot."
It added that "the treatment of this injury will depend on how it evolves over the next few days. All options can be envisaged at this time."
