(MENAFN) Authorities said that more than 23 people have died in a road accident in Cameroon's north.
According to the governor of the region where the crash took place, a truck from neighboring Chad crashed with a public transport bus.
Boukar added that the crash was caused by "overspeeding."
Three people were seriously injured in the crash and were receiving treatment at Ngoundere Regional Hospital.
