(MENAFN) Not less than 28 irregular migrants were detained in northwestern Turkey, security sources emphasized on Wednesday.
In the northwestern province of Kirklareli, gendarmerie forces arrested 28 illegal migrants in Demirkoy and Kofcaz districts, stated a security source, who asked not to be named due to restrictions on talking to the media.
The migrants of Afghan, Pakistani and Iraqi nationals were attempting to cross to Europe in groups, the source added.
