(MENAFN- Nam News Network) S. Korea says Japanese warplane flew menacingly

Seoul, South Korea, Jan 23 -- This image captured from a video posted by the defense ministry on YouTube shows Japan's Maritime Self-Defense Force's P-1 plane (circled in yellow) flying low toward the 3,200-ton Gwanggaeto the Great destroyer, a South Korean warship, in international waters of the East Sea on Dec 20, 2018. South Korea's military said on Wednesday that a Japanese maritime patrol plane flew close to a South Korean warship at an altitude of 60 to 70 meters just 540 meters away near Ieodo, a submerged rock south of Korea's southern island of Jeju the same day, calling it a "provocative act."
