Saudi 2020 economic growth upgraded to 2.1 percent: IMF

(MENAFN) Saudi Arabia is expected to see 2.1 percent in its economic growth by 2020, according to the International Monetary Fund (IMF).

This figure is an increase compared to the previous IMF forecast as it unveiled its new projections in a recent "World Economic Outlook" report.

Despite the boost, IMF imposed a decline on its Saudi economic growth for this year, placing it at 1.8 percent from 2.4 percent.

According to the IMF report, 2020 economic growth is to likely stand at 3.6 percent, 0.1 percentage points less than its earlier projection.
