(MENAFN) Bahrain International Airport recorded a 7 percent jump in the number of its passengers last year, on an annual basis.
According to Civil Aviation Affairs, Bahrain International Airport welcomed over 9 million travelers last year compared to a year earlier.
Bahrain's national aviation authority under-secretary Mohammed Thamer Al Kaabi confirmed the Air Traffic Control Center to have registered a 4 percent boost in the number of flights it managed during the period, reaching over 624,000 flights.
Al Kaabi stressed that "we are keen on providing the state-of-the-art technologies to Civil Aviation Affairs officers to fulfill their jobs more professionally."
