Voice Magazine for Women's Book of the Month

(MENAFN- PRLog) Jan-Carol Publishing, Inc., of Johnson City, Tennessee, is proud to announce that Next Summer by Dale P. Rhodes Sr. is one of Voice Magazine for Women's books of the month for January!

Dale P. Rhodes, Sr. was born in central Virginia and still lives there today. He wrote poetry and short stories in high school. After graduation, however, his life became centered around work, bills, and parenthood, and writing was pushed to the back burner. The death of Dale's father stirred his pen to life again. Next Summer is his third book, and the second book in his City on a Hill series. Dale continues to write and hopes to have his fourth and fifth books coming to fruition soon.

In Next Summer, lifelong best friends, Da Juan and Sterling, head to school on the first day of their senior year and they are excited to be the top dogs. They never expected their rookie history teacher to throw down the gauntlet on the first day and make a challenge that would engulf the whole senior class. In their last year of high school and the mission trip that becomes their journey the next summer, they prove there is nothing that true friendship cannot overcome.

"In his lively, entertaining, Christian-themed novel, Next Summer, Dale Rhodes, Sr., celebrates the power and positivity of true friendship, and how the strong bond between two can influence the lives of others for the better. This is a must-read for young adults!" —Martha Jane Orlando, author of The Glade series.

Next Summer boasts five stars on Amazon, along with reviews that lend to the excitement that surrounds the story. "LOVED this book! Dale is an amazing poet, so I was thrilled to get to read this book by him over this past summer. I loved the characters and the storyline. He has a way of weaving inspiration into his writing that makes this book a great read for Christian Fiction addicts!"—Amazon Reviewer

Next Summer can be purchased through Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and through Jan-Carol Publishing, Inc.
