Jordan- Royal Decree approves Cabinet reshuffle

Amman, Jan. 22 (Petra) - A Royal Decree was issued on Tuesday approving a reshuffle in Prime Minister Omar Razzaz's Cabinet.

Upon Razzaz's recommendation, the decree approved the appointment of the following:

Walid Maani, Minister of Education and Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research
Walid Masri, Minister of Municipal Affairs
Majd Shweikeh, Minister of Tourism and Antiquities
Inmar Khasawneh, Minister of Transport

The ministers took the oath before His Majesty the King at a ceremony at Al Husseiniyeh Palace, which was attended by the Prime Minister, Royal Court Chief Yousef Issawi and the King's adviser and director of his office, Manar Dabbas.

Earlier, a Royal Decree accepted the resignation with immediate effect of Masri as Minister of Transport and Minister of Municipalities, and Shweikeh as State Minister of Institutional Performance Development.
