(MENAFN) Officials declared that 3 militants have died in an intense clash with Indian soldiers on Tuesday in troubled Indian-controlled Kashmir.
The clashes erupted at village Heff-Shirmal village in Shopian district, about 62 km south of Srinagar city, the summer capital of Indian-controlled Kashmir.
Senior police official confirmed: "Three militants were killed today in a fierce gunfight at Heff-Shirmal here."
"The identity of the slain militants is being ascertained."
