Syrians in refugee camps receive winter aid from Turkish aid group

(MENAFN) A Turkish aid group provided families in Syria at refugee camps in northwestern Idlib province with winter aid packages, the charity affirmed on Tuesday.

The Istanbul-based Humanitarian Relief Foundation (IHH) in a written statement stated that it handed out firewood and food packages to 500 families.

Selim Tosun, media representative of IHH for Syria, emphasized the severe winter makes life hard in the refugee camps.

He added, "We provided firewood and food packages to fulfill the needs of families ... living in the rurals of Idlib, and 500 families benefited from the [recent] distribution".
