(MENAFN) Sharjah Department of Government Relations (DGR) held talks with a top Finnish delegation coming from Oulu and consisting of 12 state officials and leafing Finnish firm representatives.
Such a meeting was held with an aim to review means to strengthen cooperation between the two sides in areas of education and socioeconomic.
Both sides are also looking to expand bilateral investment opportunities between both the UAE's city and Finland.
"This compressive visit was organised to boost to the recent breakthrough in Emirati-Finnish bilateral relations, which have been strengthened through a number of visits from both sides, including a DGR delegation visit to Oulu in September 2017," stated DGR Executive Chairman Sheikh Fahim bin Sultan Al Qasimi.
