UAE likely to see India as top trade ally in 2020


(MENAFN) The UAE will see by 2020 India as its best trade partner as the country attempts to double its yearly trade volume with the GCC country.

UAE-India annual trade volume is forecast to go beyond USD100 billion by 2020 from the USD57 billion recorded in the last years.

UAE minister of climate change and environment Thani Ahmed Al-Zayoudi made the statement, as reported WAM news agency.

It comes following a meeting with India's Prime Minister Narendra Modi, as Al-Zayoudi joined the 9th Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit.

The summit is considered as a hub for collecting thoughts and inspirations of the plan of global socio-economic growth.
