(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) BEIRUT, Jan 19 (KUNA) -- Senior Arab officials started on Saturday arrival in Lebanon to participate in the 4th Arab Development, Economic and Social Summit due in Beirut tomorrow.
Lebanese President Michel Aoun welcomed the senior officials to Rafic Hariri International Airport, as he received the personal representative of Sultan Qaboos, Deputy Prime Minister of Relations and International Cooperation Asad Bin Tariq.
His Highness the Amir's envoy Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah flew to Beirut earlier today to represent His Highness the Amir at the summit.
Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled, the Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, is accompanied by an official delegation including Finance Minister Dr. Nayef Al-Hajraf, Director General of Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development (KFAED) Abdulwahab Al-Badr, Assistant Foreign Minister for the Bureau's Affairs of Deputy Premier Foreign Minister Ambassador Sheikh Dr. Ahmad Nasser Al-Mohammad Al-Sabah, and other senior officials.
