Oman- Pact inked to build temporary fuel stations on Batinah Expressway


(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) Muscat- The Ministry of Transport and Communications (MoTC) has signed an agreement with Oman Oil Marketing Company to build four temporary fuel stations on Batinah Expressway. The signing ceremony was held at the ministry building on Wednesday.

H E Salem bin Mohammed al Nuaimi, Undersecretary in the Ministry of Transport and Communications signed the pact on behalf of the ministry with David Kalife, CEO of Oman Oil Marketing Company.

The four stations will be set up in North Batinah and South Batinah at the truck weighing stations. The stations will serve road users till the completion of the integrated stations announced by the Ministry of Housing earlier. The fuel stations will also provide exits and entries to Batinah Expressway, for smooth flow of traffic. The stations will also have coffee shops, a mosque and other facilities.
