(MENAFN) Deportivo Municipal, a Peruvian first division club, signed Libertad midfielder Egidio Arevalo on a free transfer.
The 37-year-old Uruguayan already fulfilled in Lima the personal conditions required for the contract which will expire in a year.
The former Uruguay midfielder addressed reporters, commenting on the move: "now it's time to rest and be ready to contribute."
Arevalo added: "I'm looking forward to getting to know the players and adapting as quickly as possible. We have important challenges ahead and we must be willing to do everything to achieve our objectives."
