Jordan's UNICEF Makani centers to receive German support

(MENAFN) Jordan's UNICEF Makani centers for vulnerable children will be receiving support from Germany in a newly commenced campaign.

Germany introduced a 3-year program to help Jordanian and migrant kids in the centers which provide them with several services.

Around 28,000 vulnerable children in 32 Makani centers in refugee camps will benefit from the German program.

"The future of these children depends on their access to education. It is absolutely necessary for us to provide them with the opportunities to learn and thrive," German ambassador to Jordan Birgitta Siefker-Eberle stated.
