(MENAFN) Twelve people have been nabbed in operations against drug trafficking, which police say is "inextricably linked" with recent riot crime in London.
Eleven men, aged between 18 and 48, and a woman, aged 31, have been arrested at properties in Southwark and Bromley on suspicion of drug dealing charges.
The Met targeted 16 addresses as part of the raids in Peckham.
Last year witnessed the highest toll of homicides in a year in the capital since 2008.
