(MENAFN) Russia affirmed its commitment to keep in mind the interests of each party involved in the planned safe zone in northern Syria.
Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov made the statement on Wednesday while addressing a press conference.
"We will fully seek to take into account the interests of all parties involved, all of Syria's neighbors," the foreign minister stressed.
Lavrov added: "and, of course, the security interests of all countries in the region, including Turkey, will be part of the agreements that we will seek."
