Afghanistan: 7 militants die in army air attacks


(MENAFN) The army declared that over seven militants, with a local commander, have died as five more were wounded after government fighting jets hit Taliban hideouts in Garziwan district of Afghanistan's northern Faryab province on Tuesday.

It added that the air attacks were carried out against Taliban fighters in Adam Qala area of Garziwan district Tuesday afternoon, leaving seven militants dead with commander Abu Talha, among them, on the site and injuring five more.

Taliban militants haven't made any statements regarding the incident yet.
