Gabon's president backs to country after 3 months of medical leave


(MENAFN) On Monday, President Ali Bongo returned to Gabon after three months of medical treatment and a botched coup try in his nation, according to local media.

Bongo left the Moroccan capital of Rabat to join the oath-taking ceremony Tuesday of the new government he selected over the weekend.

He is predictable to return to Rabat for medical details after joining the ceremony and a cabinet meeting.

A week earlier, Gabon's government emphasized it had foiled a coup try.
