There are always things to improve: Nadal
In his press conference in Melbourne, the Spaniard said, "There are always things to improve. The serve was always a thing that I tried to improve, and I think I did. I am happy with the motivation to do something new."
Rafa had a mixed 2018 campaign and underwent surgery
Rafa had a mixed 2018 campaign.
He won the French Open, but injury hampered his progress in the latter part of the year.
He had a surgery on a troublesome foot and missed action for a while.
The Spaniard also pulled out of the Brisbane warm-up event this year due to a thigh strain.
The 32-year-old stated that injury woes are behind him now.
'I have good feelings in terms of the surgery'
"I have good feelings in terms of the surgery. After surgery, after months without competing, having trouble practising, of course there are always issues when you come back. But it's nothing new for me," said the men's singles tennis legend.
