(MENAFN) The country's security ministry declared that 12 people have died as two more were wounded in a terrorist attack in Burkina Faso's northern province of Soum.
The attack was carried out by about 30 gunmen in broad daylight and hit people who had joined for a weekly market in the village of Gasseliki.
he gunmen reportedly crashed into shops and started shooting at people.
