Lebanon's Syrian refugees receive humanitarian aid from Turkish charities


(MENAFN) A group of Turkish charities has provided Syrian refugees in camps in Lebanon's Bekaa Valley with humanitarian assistance, a representative of the body stated Wednesday.

Eight Turkish aid groups, led by Hayat Yolu Association, provided humanitarian aid to refugees in the eastern Bekaa city of Lebanon.

Ahmet Bozdag informed Anadolu Agency that the charities have run a three-day assistance program with 11 volunteers on place helping Syrian and Palestinian refugees at the al-Hindi camp.

"The camp was submerged as a result of heavy rains that affected the region recently," Bozdag emphasized.
