(MENAFN) Yemen's navy troops were announced to have rescued alongside security forces thirty-one people stranded in a ship.
The ship was explained to have been stranded for two days as it suffered a technical issue causing it to go off-radar.
The news of the discovery and the rescue was declared by Raed al-Jaribi, first undersecretary of Socotra province.
Al-Jaribi revealed that "the Yemeni ship was found twenty three nautical miles from the coast of Socotra and all its passengers were in good health after a search operation involving members of the security department and the navy."
