Moroccan authorities refers 7 suspects to trial over murder of two Scandinavian tourists


(MENAFN) On Thursday, Moroccan Public Prosecution authorities transferred seven suspects to trial over the new killing of two Scandinavian tourists.

"Seven individuals suspected of having been involved in the murder of the two tourists, including a Swiss national who also holds Spanish citizenship, have been referred to the investigating judge," Moroccan Royal Prosecutor-General Al-Hassan Daki stated in a statement.

Prosecutors demand the seven suspects to be investigated for alleged participation in a "terrorist act".

Moroccan authorities lately referred 15 other defendants to court after accusing them in the same case.
