(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, Dec 21 (KUNA) -- Kuwait Friday welcomed UN Security Council Resolution 2451 over Yemen, which reaffirmed support for an agreement between the Yemeni parties at end of their recent talks in Stockholm, Sweden.
"The unanimous support of the resolution at the Security Council clearly shows the international community's support for a peaceful solution to the crisis in Yemen," a foreign ministry source said in a statement.
The source hoped the Yemeni parties comply with the Stockholm agreement, and wished the unity of the Security Council would continue until end of the suffering of the Yemeni people. (end) bs
