(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) - BankDhofar on Monday announced that the Capital Market Authority (CMA) has approved the allotment for the bank's RO55mn rights issue.
The rights issue was oversubscribed as the bank received applications for a total of RO61.18mn against an issue size of RO55mn, BankDhofar said in a disclosure to the Muscat Securities Market (MSM).
The bank said the refunds are currently being processed and are expected to be completed by Wednesday. 'The issue manager, BankDhofar–corporate advisory and investment banking division, is carrying out the requisite steps to complete the procedures related to the uploading of the investors list at the Muscat Clearing & Depository Company and to list the new shares on the MSM'.
In April, the board of directors of BankDhofar had approved raising of the core equity tier-1 capital of an amount up to RO55mn by the way of rights issue of ordinary shares.
