Amman, Dec.16 (Petra) -- Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, Omar Razzaz, on Sunday visited the General Headquarters of the Jordan Armed Forces - Arab Army.
The prime minister met Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Lt. Gen Mahmoud Abdel Halim Freihat, on matters related to the armed forces.
The Prime Minister was briefed on a crisis management exercise, which included more than one multi-hypothesis crisis simultaneously and in more than one location in a number of the Kingdom's governorates.
Freihat stressed that the participatory work among all state institutions and the determination of responsibilities are the basis in the crisis management regardless of type and size.
The prime minister said: "Crisis management is an applied science, and if we can not manage the crisis correctly we will not be able to make the right decision."
He added that the exercise aims to learn from previous mistakes and how to benefit from them to develop radical and real solutions to crisis management.
