(MENAFN) Brussels staged a protest to stand against a UN settlement achieved a week ago in Marrakech, Morocco, on immigration.
The demonstration was organized by Flemish right-wing parties in close proximity to key EU institutions.
The march was carried out in the middle of concerns, with people alarmed that the agreement might end up with a growing number of migrants.
Around 5,500 people joined the march, which was erupted by police who threw tear gas and water cannon after disputes have struck.
