(MENAFN) The police declared that one woman has died as 44 more were wounded early Sunday when their long-distance bus smashed into a wall close to Zurich.
Police added that the bus was heading from the Italian city of Genoa to Dusseldorf in Germany when it skidded and crashed into a wall on an icy motorway near Zurich.
Police confirmed that 3 people were critically wounded, including at least one whose in a severe condition.
"At the time of the accident, the motorway was covered with snow and ice, and it was snowing," as investigators are yet to detect the reason behind the crash, according to police spokesperson.
